A brief look into the functioning of ice making equipments and systems
An ice making equipment is something that you must invest in when you are looking to set up a restaurant or eatery business of your own. The ice making equipment mainly works as a machine that can be used for preparing ice which can then be used for making ice cream, shaved iced, shakes and other types of food items and beverages. An ice making machine starts to create ice once the main cycle begins. The ice making cycle is efficiently directed by the simple electrical circuit which sends the commands to all the other parts and components of the machine. Once the electric current is activated, the switch is going to send a current to the solenoid water valve that can be found located behind the refrigerator in case of most of the models or designs. The electric charges that are transmitted to the wires leads the solenoid to smoothly open the valve that remains open for about seven second which is enough to allow the water to fill up the ice mold.
After the ice mold has been completely filled up, the ice making system waits for the water to freeze. There is a built-in thermostat present with the ice maker that monitors the temperature of the water as it gets frozen. As the water attains the intended temperature of around -13 degrees Celsius, the thermostat is going to close a switch which will activate the heating coil present just below the ice making machine. As the coils start heating up, the warmth generated in the bottom section of the mold helps to loosen all the ice cubes gently from the surface of the mold. This is following by another circuit which activates the ice maker and assists in spinning a gear which rotates another gear that is placed on the long shaft. This long shaft consists of some ejector blades that scoop out the ice cubes from the mold, pushing them from the ice maker.
The ice making machine consists of plastic notches that match up all the ejector blades. These blades are then going to pass the notches and push the cubes gently in collection bin. The smooth functioning of ice making machines and simple features make them quite handy in various large and small restaurants and eateries.
