Ikram Building Materials Trading was launched 2004 in United Arab Emirates (Ajman). From the beginning the company's main objective is to provide quality products from Europe for the Middle East construction industry.
After the company emerged as a major supplier of building materials for UAE and the rest of the region. Then in 2010, a decision was made to move operations to Oman, Saudi Arabia.

Anticipating the increasing demand for innovative products and technologies in the local construction industry as well as the developing markets in the neighboring countries of Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Libya, it became necessary to establish a distribution arm to better serve the middle east region's clientele. In the capital city of Abu Dhabi, the project list include the Alder's Al Raha Beach Development, Saadiyat bridge, Saadiyat island's zayed national museum, Abu Dhabi Financial Centre, Al Bahr Towers, Danat Al Emirate and Mafraq Dialysis Centre.
Other prominent UAE projects include University of Sharjah Teaching Hospital and medical complex, coral beach hotel and the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital.
